Sep 17	comment	Flash a smartphone with vanilla Android ROM They should build databases and give people the opportunity to download the vanilla Android for that specific phone that they own,which it will contain the drivers for that device.But again that wouldn't mean that the people's devices are going to receive the latest version of the Android OS,because after the version comes out manufacturers must updates their drivers in order to make them work with it.The best they can do is that they should find a solution like the OSs that we run in our PCs.For example Windows/Ubuntu have programs which automatically find the correct drivers for your system.
