I am a junior Android Developer and I do it as a hobby. My first app, Debt Planner hit 14,500 downloads in the first year on the Android Market/Google Play Store with a 4 star average rating. Trying to program Android without Java fundamentals is not for the faint-hearted. Thank to Stack Overflow, I have been able to work around this flaw.
