With headphones plugged in, set incoming call ringtone to play through speaker I'm not sure if this will help you, but a habit that I have developed that helps with this issue is that I always pause the music by pulling the headphones. I started doing this on my iPod back in the days out of convenience, and I kept on doing it. Turns out, for smartphones it actually helps you avoid situations like this (and on the iPod, it helped you avoid battery drain from the iPod playing music all night). |

Problems cutting people off The simple (and stupid) answer is to try holding the phone a little bit further away from your face (as in, make the handset touch your ear but not your cheek) -- however, if this keeps happening it seems more like a problem with the handset, and you should bring it up with the manufacturer. |

How to transfer iPhone contacts to Android Samsung without using iTunes? This is by far the simplest and best solution. If you have an Android device, you pretty much need a Google account anyway. Might as well sync the contacts to the Google account before switching phones. |

Upgrade Cyanogenmod from 9.1 to 10.1 without losing information? It annoys me how people still say "wipe data, then cache". The "wipe data/factory reset" has wiped the cache partition as a part of that forever, just look at the prompt right in front of you. Also, your answer does not adress backing up settings and apps at all, just making a nandroid backup. |
