Can I stop a WhatsApp message from being delivered? My understanding is that a single tick next to a message indicates that your message has been delivered to the WhatsApp server. A double tick indicates it has been subsequently delivered to the recipients device. I was wondering whether a local deletion at that first stage also prevents the second stage from occurring. |

Why do I get a phantom text message when I reboot my phone? If I don't get any other suggestions then I'll do exactly that. I just don't personally think that it is worth my while factory resetting the phone to potentially resolve this minor irritation. I'd rather put up with it than have to reconfig the handset all over again. It's a fine suggestion, so please do not think I am being dismissive of you. |

Camera - Using the flash to illuminate in camera mode? I did try turning on the in-built flashlight device, but the light goes off when I swap to the camera app. I'll see if the linked app is any better. |

Camera - Using the flash to illuminate in camera mode? No, not that I can see. There is an on-screen toggle to Force the flash on, off or set it to automatic, but forcing it on only makes the flash fire when taking a photo, it doesn't make it illuminate at all times. |

Youtube App Version 4.0.8E crashes on open Unfortunately this doesn't make any difference. Even clearing the data and cache the program closes on launch. |

What is the difference between USB charging and AC charging? Thank you. This suggests that there is a difference in power output between the third-party AC charger I am using and the HTC branded AC charger that came with the device. The third party says it outputs 1000mA, so presumably this will still charge faster than plugging into the USB socket. |

Transferring Phone Ownership Thanks for the suggestion. It's setup pretty well at the moment so don;t really want to fiddle too much. No odd customisations that I can recall, but if so I'll be on hand to sort. |

Internet - How to stop Popup windows appearing in a small overlay Thanks for the information. I'm shortly due to be getting a new Android phone ( HTC Sensation XE) which runs ICS so perhaps the default behaviour will be better or failing that I should have more space for an alternative browser. |

Internet - How to stop Popup windows appearing in a small overlay @ w3d - I'm pretty sure it's not the mobile version of the site as the appearance is quite different ( I used to use that site on my old phone) . I will double check though. @Bryan Denny - I haven't tried with any other browsers other than the stock browser. The phone is really tight on storage space so I don't really have room to have an extra browser app installed to clear this annoyance. |
