Is it possible to use an Android phone as network disk, so I can browse it on my TV? So this doesn't do what I (topicstarter) need at all... |

Is it possible to use an Android phone as network disk, so I can browse it on my TV? When the SD card is unmounted, and connected to my TV as a storage device, how will these mounts stay there? |

Is it possible to use an Android phone as network disk, so I can browse it on my TV? The longer I think about it the less sure I am this is going to work. If I connect the phone to the TV as a diskdrive, the sd-card will be unmounted from the phone, or am I going at this the wrong way? |

Is it possible to use an Android phone as network disk, so I can browse it on my TV? The TV supports none of the protocols since it has no network connection (no cable/WiFi). It has a USB port to browse usb storage devices. |

Is it possible to use an Android phone as network disk, so I can browse it on my TV? OK, to answer your questions: HTC Desire HD, TV is able to browse USB storage devices. At the moment I go to my PC, connect to my phone with the USB cable, and put a video file on the SD card. Then I walk to my TV and plug the phone into the usb port. Then I browse the SDcard to find the video file, and open it. Every once in a while I connect my phone to the TV, and then find out that I need to go upstairs to my PC again, because there are no video files left to watch. And then I think "If I only could use a network file explorer (like ES) and use it to browse it on my tv"... |

Is there a way to use an Android tablet as a wifi handsfree device? I was planning to wait for this to be released as a full release, but it is taking a little long. Any other ideas? |

Is there a way to use an Android tablet as a wifi handsfree device? EDIT: I need to replace that function and I already have a tab in my car directly connected to my stereo. I want my outgoing audio from my phone over wifi to my tab. phone-> wifi -> tab -> cable -> car stereo. If I can dial from my tab that would be an extra. |

Is there a way to use an Android tablet as a wifi handsfree device? no. both wrong. I want to make a phone call with my phone, but in my country it is illegal to hold your phone at ear height. That is why I had a car stereo with bluetooth, so I can hear the person I am talking to over my car speakers. |
