What kind of TV is it? Are you plugged in directly to the TV, or through a receiver?

comment How to flash Stock Recovery without PC
By "don't have a PC" do you literally mean you don't have access to a desktop or laptop computer, or do you mean you're using a Mac?

comment How can I avoid applications from sucking my battery and bypassing my lock-screen?
I don't necessarily agree that removing the app is overkill (although an entire OS switch due to one app definitely would be). Greenify might be a less drastic option, but ultimately, if an app is killing your battery, you have to decide which is more valuable: the app or longer runtimes. Greenify also specifically recommends NOT applying it to messaging apps, since it would typically break real-time notifications: "NEVER greenify alarm clock apps, instant messaging apps unless you don't rely on them. Please do verify the impact of greenified apps on which you heavily rely."

comment How to delete backups made using Clockworkmod?
This answer is actually somewhat innacurate now; more recently, CWM gives the option to use either the blob format or the full backup format, defaulting back to the full backup format (at least on the latest version I had on my SGS2). To answer your question, though, if you are using the full backup method, you can delete them while in Android. If you're using the blob method, you'll need to "free space" in CWM after deleting backups, either in Android or in CWM.

comment Have I completely lost my IMEI?
This is what I suspected after quite a bit of searching. I've since decided to just live with it, as it's mostly not a problem. The main time it causes trouble is if someone reports a phone using it as stolen, which has happened to me twice since I first lost the IMEI, but not recently. It's also troublesome for apps that use it as an identifier, but in one case it's worked to my advantage.
