Contacts disappeared after adding new google account With "restore" I rather meant adding them manually back :(. I found an older csv contacts file and linked it to my new google account, that made thing easier. |

Contacts disappeared after adding new google account The thing is like this: they deactivated my account a while ago, but I payed no attention to it, because everything was fine. Today, I said to myself that I should look into the issue and thought that it would be easier to make a new account than report the case to google. I had no idea that the data was not stored locally! So, I made a new account, deleted the old account from the settings and afterwards... 80% of the contacts were just gone! It can't be possible that all the contacts are stored only online... |
