comment How can I restore IMEI code after factory reset?
@SuperThomasLab I have no Samsung device, so I'm the wrong person to guide you step-by-step. I only know with Sammies it has to do with the /efs partition usually.

comment ADB doesn't recognize my device in recovery mode
Reading between the lines, you're using Windows on your computer. Have you checked if the device is even found at all – i.e. does it show up in the device manager, and with what additional information?

comment What happens when I wipe the internal storage of a device using TWRP?
You also need to differentiate of what you wipe. If you only wipe /data and /cache, you didn't even touch the system, so your device will boot up fine without any additional actions – as basically you've only performed a factory-reset :) If you, however, wipe /system, the device will no longer "boot up normally" (but still be able to boot into recovery), and you will have to flash a stock or custom ROM (either from recovery, or via fastboot).

comment Notification “not enough system space” appears when using Internet in Vivo Y15
For a starter, you might wish to take a look at our insufficient-memory tag-wiki, which contains some first-aid on similar cases. Though your case could be a bit different if you really quoted the error message literally – never saw it phrased like this. If it is the literal notification text, follow Arielle's advice – but please let us know what app it was for potential further advice.

comment Debugging faulty Andriod apps
Please see How can I view and examine the Android log? (and our logging tag-wiki ;) And while "retrieving logs" (to send to the dev) lies in the domain of Android users, debugging apps does not; that part is rather for the devs themselves. As this site focusses on issues Android users have, the debugging is better fit on the dev's site (check with Stack Overflow, but read their /help/on-topic and /tour URLs first to not get rejected there ;)

comment How to install google play store on AOSPA 5.1 Falcon?
No prob – and yes, you flash the archive via your custom recovery (CWM, TWRP, or whatever it is). Or you install BlankStore as system app ;)

comment How to install google play store on AOSPA 5.1 Falcon?
Sounds correct, yes. Pico IMHO is the smallest subset available. Alternatively, take a look at the NOGAPPS project, and just flash BlankStore (that's what I use on my Google-free devices, see my Android without Google blog series). Still works, though BlankStore is currently unmaintained. Oh: I didn't try it on Lollipop; but if it doesn't work, just remove it and use Pico instead ;)

Please see: How can I install the Google Apps Package (Play Store, …) on my Android device? You cannot install "Playstore only", there are dependencies to care for. Watch out for packages with "minimal" or the like in their names, I remember there were some "stripped-down versions" available for devices with "small storage".

comment Options for Stolen Phone
A good starting point for finding an answer on your issue is our lost-phone tag-wiki. You've already used this tag here (correctly); you might have missed that most of our tags have a wiki associated often containing first-aid and central hints on the topic ;)

comment Icons for apps on the SD card don't load
Might be an issue with your "launcher" (Home-screen app). Background: The SD card is loaded after the BOOT_COMPLETED broadcast – i.e. when the launcher is already running. So the launcher must take care to "refresh" those icons. You can check that by (temporarily) installing an alternative launcher, making that (again temporarily) your default launcher, and reboot your device. Don't worry, these actions can be reverted (simply uninstall the new launcher if you don't like it, and have all things back as before).

comment “adb devices” successfully shows device, but “adb connect usb” inevitably fails, any suggestions?
@JoeC It's obvious once you know it. But as you've experienced yourself, it might not be that obvious before. Someone else might tap into the same trap, so the question is fine here – however "stupid" it might seem afterwards :)

comment How to transfer app settings from Galaxy S3 to a S6 without root?
Reading between the lines: You're looking for a solution to do that directly from device to device with no PC involved? Close to impossible then without root, as no single app can get access to all other apps (or rather their data) without root.
