comment Preventing certain WAKELOCKS (NlpCollectorWakeLock, NlpWakeLock) with shell? (e.g. pm command)
Not sure if you're in the right tracks with your attempt. Apps aquire wakelocks for a reason (well, at least that's the idea behind). Trouble is not them aquiring them, but those wakelocks sometimes not being released – which you cannot overcome by that. Your outcome would more likely be several apps/services stopping to work correctly, acting erraneously, or causing other errors.

comment Root android lg ms690 version 2.2.1
@bmdixon Ooops? In that case you're correct, but rather should link to that question with your VTC :) Found no "real proof", but GSMArena lists the M+ as "MS-695", which is a good indicator. // EVA: Can you confirm your device being the "Optimus M"?

towelroot by geohot claims to root pretty any version of Android. I didn't try it myself, but it's worth a try. Please report back when tried whether it was successful, so I make it an answer ;)

@bmdixon Please see the rooting tag-wiki, we do not close rooting questions towards that one since 1/2012 (oops!) – but instead permitting exactly one "how-do-I-root-my-X" question per device. The LG MS690 is not yet listed in our index, so I will add it now (you might wish to retract your close-vote ;)

Does How to backup the Android calendar file (is there such a file)? (see also the other questions linked/related there) cover your issue? Several more solutions might be found in this list (to sync your calendar with other sources) or here (backup/restore).

comment Cleaning up Samsung S2 memory
SDCard has nothing to do with the "insufficient memory"/"insufficient storage" error (see the tag-wiki). More likely culprits are tombstones and /data/local. SDMaid is a good pointer, though – as it doesn't only care for the external SDCard. But for pretty much everything else, it needs root…

comment Why is the play store displaying same app twice under the My apps section
Two things to check: 1) have you installed the app on multiple devices (shouldn't be the reason for that, but is the first thing coming to mind) and 2) have you checked in Settings→Apps on your device if you have two apps of the same name (also unlikely, as the playstore only seems to have that once – but sometimes, the "free" and the "paid" version of an app have the same "display name")?

comment Android Nexus 5 knows password of WiFi he was never connected to!
And you might wish to do this from the beginning. Once the data got out, no way to get it off again. Though there's a "delete" option, that doesn't seem to do a thing (see heise.de/-1922971 – German, but you can run GoogleTrans on it).
