comment Android browser: how to revoke ssl permission on a single site after giving it?
Oh – yes, of course! Sorry I didn't make that clear. Will integrate that with my answer so it's not missed :)

Oh, that's why. OK, I'll update my answer to point that out, so it will be clearer for others who might miss it as well :) Thanks for the feedback!

Swapps probably does exactly the same. I've just checked with Activity Manager, and found three entries for the Application Manager straight (in Settings – or rather "Einstellungen", as app names are localized).

comment I downloaded Some App. But it was not installed. Still It is consuming memory
Checking the /data folder and below requires root. The 400 MB file would most likely be in /data/local, where Playstore usually downloads apps to before installing them – which also is why it failed with "insufficient storage" (and why you must have at least 2 times the app size plus 25 MB free on internal storage to install an app – usually more, as the app will create its databases etc. as well on install).

I didn't check that one explicitly, but it must be part of Settings. Activity names are not always that clear, you might have to try several until finding the right one.

You might need another rule in the port forwarding: port 22 UDP. Have you tried that?

I'm 100% sure "Settings" is in there, as I'm using that myself (both ways: on some devices with Apex, on one with Activity Launcher). It might be called differently (e.g. localized, which it is in my case) – so also watch out for that (and the corresponding icon).

How's your device connected to the internet: WiFi or mobile data? If WiFi, there's a router in between. Did you setup corresponding NAT rules so the device can be reached from the "outer world"?

comment How to move Android folder to SD Card?
Check with How do I root my Android device? if it's already listed with a solution. If not, check the methods listed below the devices. If that doesn't work, please open a new question, giving your device specs, and include methods you've tried (and failed) – or, if one worked out, even answer your question yourself with the solution, and link that back to the list :)

comment When should I get suspicious over permission requests and when should I safely install an app?
Trouble is, there are too many permissions to take care for – and as the article mentioned in my last comment points out, many of them are not well documented (or documented at all). I partly tried that with the "good cop – bad cop" model. Maybe I should start trying that on the whole list from my first comment – wherever it's possible at all, that is. Still, a hard thing to do for someone who's not a developer (and thus no knowledge of which methods are protected by what permission) …

OK, that asks for deeper investigation. Could you check the Android system logs for some pointers?

comment When should I get suspicious over permission requests and when should I safely install an app?
Not fully beyond it, I could do so in some article (given I find the time). Something like Why do some apps request too many permissions? This article partly covers that when discussing READ_PHONE_STATE (see also Why do so many applications require permission to read the phone state and identity?)

comment Does switching user accounts in Lollipop affect battery life or performance?
OK, that most likely rules out my idea for investigation. // As I find it pretty interesting, I've mentioned (and linked to) your question in our chat room as well. Some of our "power users" are actually devs who might be able to answer this question (and probably will, given some time to see it). Good luck(y) – and I'm curious for the answers as well!
