Razr Maxx HD, How to wipe data with broken screen Yes, fastboot -w erases both user data and cache, which is the same as the wipe/factory reset. That covers all of your data except for the SD card, which you'll have to place into another device or computer if you want to erase it. |

Are IPv6 Privacy Extensions supported and how can they be enabled/disabled? @MatthewRead When the EUI-64 address is used, the IPv6 address becomes (in theory) unique to the device. It identifies the device and possibly the manufacturer (of the NIC, at least). Though, so does the User-Agent string, and nobody cares much about those because they don't necessarily uniquely identify the device. |
