I have to set the phone to silent twice to make it “stick”. How can I do it after once set? @Alex B - Ditto mine! I haven't noticed the problem for some days now. I can only imagine some app was misbehaving, and they released an update to fix it... |

I have to set the phone to silent twice to make it “stick”. How can I do it after once set? I have the same symptom on stock 4.1 (Nexus 7). As with you, this is a fairly new behavior that started without any OS updates. |

Periodic Nexus 7 touch responsiveness issue I have upgraded to 4.1.1 (from day 1), so the problem has happened on the latest version. Normally the touch responsiveness is quite good; it's just on the rare occasion that there's a problem. Thanks for the data point; my main goal is to figure out if it's a hardware problem before the warranty period is up. |

Periodic Nexus 7 touch responsiveness issue Thanks; those are good diagnostic tips. It's pretty sporadic, so I'm not sure if I can abide the more invasive options (like flashing the screen) for long, but at least the CPU monitor would be good to keep on for a bit. |
