How can I stream audio from my phone over wifi to a speaker or receiver? sonos doesn't do this. It will stream music from your phone but the files have to be on the phone or a PC or NAS mediaserver. I want to stream from spotify and/or amazon mp3's cloud player. They try to do this with apps but the apps are never as powerful as the desktop version of the program. |

How can I stream audio from my phone over wifi to a speaker or receiver? The jack cable is a pain. I have a 25ft stereo mini but you end up tripping over things. DLNA doesn't do it because it only streams music stored on the phone; I have a ton of music in amazon mp3's cloud player (and playlists) as well as spotify. |

Replace audio cable with wireless solution also DLNA won't do it. AFAIK you can only stream from your local library. So I can't stream spotify over DLNA using the regular spotify client (which has more features than any of the plugins for DLNA out there). |

Replace audio cable with wireless solution I used sony's bluetooth adapter. The problem is range - bluetooth sucks beyond a few feet. If I got up and interposed my body between the transmitter and the receiver audio would drop. |

How can I stream audio from my phone over wifi to a speaker or receiver? Close but it only streams from the local device or "supported networked media library". I use amazon mp3 - is it supported? Does the support have as much functionality as the cloud player? What I'm really looking for is a way to send any sound emanating from the OS to a different speaker. |

How can I stream audio from my phone over wifi to a speaker or receiver? I've got a Logitech squeezebox which comes close but there are features in the android version of spotify that aren't in the squeezebox plugin. Seems like something that should be doable. If I can stream all audio through Bluetooth why not over wifi? |
