How do i recover my data on a Galaxy Tab after a factory reset? If everything could just be easily recovered after a data wipe/factory reset, that same data would be available to the finder (possessor) or any lost/stolen tablet (or smart-phone). That said, there are forensic tools out there (if you can gain access to them) which may be able to recover ALL recent data and history. |

Airdroid modifies timestamps of copied files This is the classic push/pull issue with FTP. If you copy files to your PC (push), it does not trust the source (and replaces the time/date stamps). If you copy files from the device (pull), your PC has control and retains the time/date stamps. The same issue occurs when FTP copying between two Ubuntu hosts, using Nautilus. If you can configure settings, you can overcome this. |

Samsung S3: avoid automatic screen lock With some types of 'touch' technology, there could be hardware support to 'wake-up' on any activity. But this would be susceptible to false triggers (wake-up in pocket, etc.) Many of the 1st/2nd generation smart phones did this. And their battery life was v. poor. |

How to offload browser audio links to background player for continued listening. Is this a browse 'feature'? Or, part of the 'design document' for Android app. design? It seems odd that both browser and reader app. have the same issue. |
