comment Cannot Factory Reset after Encrypting
Hi all! I flashed my phone eventually over Odin and it seemed to work. I restart it and it comes up with a different boot screen (so I was quite excited) but now it's still asking me to decrypt the phone. Except now my old password doesn't work!!

I've tried to do this but can't work out how to do it via Heimdall (Linux implementation of ODIN) - does it have to be via ODIN? Where would I find my original recovery? I may be just doing it wrong - which HOWTO should I be following for this?

comment Will a Custom Recovery work with an encrypted device?
I realised this following this post. However it still doesn't work, saying that it Failed to mount /sdcard when I ask it to update from /sdcard/update.zip. Any ideas?

This isn't working for me. df doesn't understand -h. However, I carry on anyway and when I'm done /sdcard/ contains the update.zip. When I restart the phone into Recovery mode, however, the sdcard cannot be mounted - presumably because the temporary filesystem is now gone.
