comment Can using too much RAM drain battery?
> Swiping an app out of the 'recent apps' list doesn't kill the app or remove it from RAM. This was changed in the latest versions of Android. See e.g.: code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=63618

Is internet still accessible? Did you try to switch off/on your player and wifi router?

comment How to figure out which app changes pulse notification light in system settings?
I am really sorry for that nonsense. The latest one is KK 4.4.2, I know it, I have it on my Nexus, but I wrote 4.2.2...

comment How can I share my Google Play wish list with other people?
I know all these shortcomings, but I shared it, because it can be useful for someone :) You can just mail the /sdcard/cd_observed.json file, it is the text file. But if you have only a few items on your wish list you can mail to your friends all app links anyway :)

comment How does hibernating an app work technically?
It works wonderfully, but don't greenify blindly everything, but only confirmed CPU/RAM/battery hogs. Use Greenify built in app analyser, Wakelock Detector and Better Battery Stats to identify good candidates for greenifying.

comment Any way to stop ridiculous translations in Google PlayStore?
I use the same workaround as you, I am adding &hl=en to the end of link all the time. It is a pity that previous version web Play Store has a handy pulldown menu with other languages and it is missing in the latest version. I asked myself: Why it is everything so dumbed now?

comment Galaxy S2 is possibly bricked. What can I do?
Did you just remove micro SD card and reboot before doing factory reset? Did you try to boot in safe mode before doing factory reset? tested.com/tech/android/…

comment Nexus 7 randomly reboots and resets date to 1999
Ouch, I think that damaged micro USB connector on your Nexus 7 can be culprit of your problem. You can check this theory: rent the dock from friend and try to charge through the dock's pogo pins, I bet that everything will be all right.

Do you mean by "the charging port is a little messed up" that the micro USB connector on your Nexus 7 is dirty and has a poor contact?
