My HTC Desire HD has been stolen. What data can still be accessed by the thief? Since it is a Desire HD you should have "HTC Sense", if you log in via the web, I believe you can wipe data from the phone? As for what data (taking a stab here)... assuming they've gotten access, I guess any of the apps/sites you have already logged in. Also I assume anything on the SD Card is accessible (they can insert it into a computer and read the contents of the card) |

Apps' update status in Market app not always reliable? I've never experienced this myself, but I do think Google has some sync problems with the Market. When I push an update for my app, I can generally open the Market on my phone in ~10min and will see the update. But it can take hours for the info (new description, version number etc) to appear |

Unlock problem with HTC Desire Just to clarify: When you first boot up, everything works ok (except for widgets not displaying). But when the phone locks (screen blacks out) when you try to unlock the screen doesn't turn back on? Recent problem? or your phone has always been like this? |

What info does Google backup? Ah yes, that seems about right (flashed my phone with custom ROM so do expect some discrepancies). Though I do really wish they had a list somewhere! Re the market mylibrary... that list doesn't correctly reflect what I have installed on my phone :( |

What are some of the effects of flashing my HTC Desire with cyanogenmod? Just an update for #2. Flashing insertcoin rom (htc sense rom) kept my original keyboard with the new gingerbread goodies. Flashing cyanogenmod (aosp rom) meant my keyboard was lost - there was no quick/easy way to get it back. |
