Dropbox LAN Sync on Android Device I understand the difference between the two, LAN sync is quite handy in a multi-computer house. We may need an actual Dropbox developer to let us know, but I'd gather that the Camera Upload feature (which is, right now, the ONLY official one-way-"syncing" solution offered for Android) does not use LAN sync, because you want the pictures from your phone uploaded to dropbox, even if they ultimately end up on a home pc. |

Dropbox LAN Sync on Android Device Which is why my original answer seemed relevant to the syncing question, since Camera Upload is the closest you can get to syncing files from (not to) the phone right now. :) Short answer to his question is no. |

Dropbox LAN Sync on Android Device I was unaware that you could sync an entire folder, as far as I knew you could "star" some files and that would sync them to/from your device. Where is this option buried so that I might sync my folders? |

Dropbox LAN Sync on Android Device What's with the downvotes? Could you provide a reason why my answer isn't useful. |

Any reason why Swype isn't in Play Store? Not a technical reason, most hardware supports it. Part of it might be the fact that manufacturer installed versions would conflict with an "official" Play Store version, much like the Beta version. The PR response: "This eliminates confusion and allows us to deliver the best Swype experience possible..." |

Using Multiple Devices With the Play Store I believe you need Android 2.2+ in order to use the latest version of the Android Market app which ties into the Android Market site. Here's a full list of supported devices from Google: support.google.com/androidmarket/bin/… |

Is it possible to prevent unintentional re-dialling from Call History? @BryanDenny I do the same thing, works quite well to prevent pocket dials. Only problem I've found is that it gimps occasionally, seems to be related to spotty coverage, but I'm not sure. |

How do I get the GPS icon to show in the status bar in CM7? Are you actively using an app that needs the GPS? It usually only displays while it is in use, open Google Maps and see what you find. |

Is actually possible to answer a comment made at android market? This is something that is seriously lacking in the Market. |

Is there an Android web browser which can upload files from a local file system? imgur.com, flickr are notable examples of sites that allow access natively for Android 2.2+. |

How to get the “check” next to text messages without being notified? This is probably an HTC Sense thing that you can't change. On my G2, with the "vanilla" Android interface, it displays a small toast message that disappears after a few seconds. |
