Where are the water damage indicators on a G2? I think it would be a little odd if they put a water sensor inside the chassis in such a way, so I don't think the pink you see is a triggered moisture sensor. Then again, I don't own a G2 and have never seen one in person. |

Should the phone be fully charged before flashing a rom? I always just leave my phone plugged in while I make backups or flash a new ROM. If you're concerned with battery calibration you can manually reset it by fully charging your phone and then letting it run down to the point where it shuts itself off twice in a row with no charging between 100% and 0%. |

Google Apps won't flash on HTC Desire (Cyanogenmod) In my (admittedly very limited) experience doing a normal reboot and then rebooting into recovery seem to have different effects on the phone. When I originally flashed CM6.2.1 on my Droid I installed it via ROM Manager and then had similar issues with GApps, so I rebooted the phone, let it come back up naturally, and then re-flashed the GApps and I ended up getting them on successfully that time. Obviously though with the phones being different and no guarantee that my issue was the same as yours your results may vary. |

How can I disable auto-rotate on my phone? When did you flash 7? I can't get Cyanogen's site to load and ROM Manager keeps timing out on the download! This waiting thing sucks! |

Can Android differentiate between headphones and headset? I have CM6.2.1 installed on my Droid and I get the headset icon in the status bar when I plug my phone into my cassette adapter (cassette tape thing with a 1/8" plug coming out) in my car. There's definitely no mic on that piece of equipment. |
