comment Which engine does the stock Samsung browser use?
Webkit is de-facto engine in AOSP, having said that, Google are keen to drop webkit soon enough now that Blink is 1 year old...

comment How to record my calls on Nexus 4 with Android 4.4.2?
Rooting the phone will make no difference to voice recording incoming/outgoing calls as that is walled off from the proprietary telephony chipset used and hence no one has actually done that for that very simple reason. And to record the other end is totally grey area, the person would have to give you consent to do so, IANAL but broach this carefully.

Also, this caught my eye - Groovy in particular this, and I quote Currently, Groovy is not able to run properly on Google's Android mobile platform out of the box.

Ahhhh..... I suspected that! Did you not consider that somewhere in your code is faulty... ? Did you check around for support/bug tracking on groovy itself? This is bordering on off-topic now that the headline of the question was bit sensationalised when it turns out your app is causing dexopt to throw a wobbler. Looking at our sister site StackOverflow on the topic of Groovy, it is best you get in touch with groovy contributors to find out why!

One or two questions - what version of Android, also you mentioned you built an application, is this your application groovy/ui/OutputTransforms$ObjectHolder_localTransforms; or part of one of your classes?

I cannot help but notice further down the stack trace, the data cache for the app seems corrupted which chokes on the dexopt and throws a wobbler. Have you tried clearing/resetting the dalvik cache?

@Dan your answer is incorrect, the offending app seems to cause problems!

dexopt is not at fault here - ip7.bathuniapp what is this app? That is inducing the fault.

comment How long does Galaxy S2 last with the latest android before it fails to work properly?
Getting hot when screen is bright, running "intensive" app (What app?) are all symptoms of overclocking. What is "someteen hours"? You do know you can edit your question to include the comment below your question by clicking on the edit button above.

what head or tail are you referring to? Does not make sense. As @chakh stated, care to pin-point specifically what is the problem at hand?
