comment What range of tcp buffer size do you suggest for slow and fast networks?
Is there a reason to believe that the smart Android engineers did not choose the "best" values for the buffersize? I'm usually skeptic about recommendations "from the net", and I doubt that your issues will improve when you modify the buffersize, because I don't think they are related.

comment Does Android suffer from the same “over a period of time” performance degradation that OSes like Windows do?
Not before, but you always can have a look at the running apps via SettingsAppsRunning

comment Avoided poor internet connection message with Cyanogenmod using 'Eduroam'
I believe this is mostly a issue with how eduroam is configured. I use it myself and I think they have issues distributing IPs via DHCP. I don't think that there is something you can do on your end-device to fix this.

comment Can I use an iPhone 4 micro-SIM card on Samsung Galaxy S?
Interesting, I've never heard of such a practice, at least here in Germany/Europe. The radio frequency is usually not related to the SIM card at all.

comment Can I root a phone thats already rooted?
Simply speaking, Android devices are either rooted or not. If they are not rooted, then you should ask the question "How can I root my <insert your device name/model>?"

comment Customer claims our app trashed her phone
Then you should re-word the question simply asking if a App can cause this in order to prevent it getting closed.

comment Customer claims our app trashed her phone
This question appears to be off-topic because it is not written from a end-user perspective.

comment mobile rooting problem
You jump pretty quick to the conclusion that rooting was the cause for the installation problems. The problem could be completely unrelated to rooting. See for example android.stackexchange.com/questions/27083/…

comment Using IP to ping a real Android device that is plugged by USB from computer
Just connecting your Android with a PC over USB does not establish IP connectivity. Reverse tethering would be one possibility to achieve that, but there are also other means.

comment How to find release date for Google Play apps?
I also don't understand why this isn't a duplicate. Because you consider "Relase Date" != "Initial Release Date"? If so, how do you define those two?

Could you add a screenshot and a question to your post?

comment Why is the play store displaying same app twice under the My apps section
Just to clarify: You can't change the package name with an Play Store update. But you can release a new version of an App under a new/changed package name.

comment “adb devices” shows device as “unauthorized”. How can I fix this?
That question is not the same as the other. Swann's problem is that he didn't authorized the host to access the device via adb (as answered by keepcalm).

comment How do I force stop an application downloading from Android Market?
Not sure about the downvote, this answer seems worth a try.

comment How to sync Google+ Instant Upload with Google Drive?
So it doesn't send the photo's to Google+ but "just" to Google Drive? I see how some people may prefer that, but for me it seems to make little to no difference if I upload my personal photos to one or another USA-based cloud provider.

comment How to monitor child's SMS messages?
"…you have the right to monitor his SMS messages." Just wanted to clarify that this is not true in Germany (and in other parts of Europe and likely other countries with a sane privacy law). A child could sue you if you do so without its consent

comment Can the RECEIVE_SMS permission be used to intercept SMS messages?
"Yes it can". But only on Android 4.3 and lower. Since 4.4 SMS_RECEIVED is a non abortable Intent. Please add that important fact. See also stackoverflow.com/questions/20021492/…

comment What is track.dovelane.com and how do I get rid of it?
If it's an Android notification, then you may want to have a look at android.stackexchange.com/questions/20368/…
