comment Replacing the flash chip on a Galaxy Nexus
The memory is soldered to the main board of a non-Verizon phone. On Verizon phones, the memory is soldered to an add-on board that isn't even held in by screws...

The SIM tray and internal flash chip are both on a removable circuit board. So to swap them I simply take it out of one and put it in the other(no soldering), keeping the working SIM card.

You probably already have a new phone or know the answer, but I agree with the charging circuit idea. Did you replace the port or the whole charging circuit board?

I already tried the soldering method with my brick of an iron, so I bought a new USB board a few days ago. I'll keep you posted.

But it happens with all chargers... including my computer. Leading me to believe that it is a phone side issue.

comment WiFi tether without losing battery
Oh I'm trying it one way or another :) And I don't have any issues with multitasking until I tether... So I hope there is a way to cut the battery out of the loop.
