Use wifi in HTC Dream behind a proxy I tried but it didnt work. It detects the wifi network but does not connect to it. My internet access on my laptop is through a LAN connection with static IP address, maybe thats creating problems. Maybe I can do something similar on Ubuntu as it isnt working on Windows 7. |

HTC Dream keeps on showing power options screen I googled to find the following post: android-dls.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fastboot. Here it mentions that the G1 phones have the fastboot disabled by default. So, what do I do? Do you think flashing it with a new android OS will help? |

Also, its android 1.5 not 1.6. I had made a mistake in the question. So, I cant even use the apps available on market.android.com. Do you think, upgrading to a better 1.x would be a good choice?
