Using a Samsung Galaxy SII (SC-02C) in Japan, with Docomo as my service provider. Currently running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, rooted.

Also have a Galaxy Tab 10.1, 16GB, WiFi only. Currently running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, rooted.

Dec 18	comment	Lock screen stuck in landscape mode on Galaxy Tab 10.1 Thanks for responding. I'm not sure that I believe this is just default for all tablets, though. I've had different versions of Android before this and all have been able to show the lock screen in portrait mode.

Dec 3	comment	Can I replace the system font just for Japanese text? Voting to close. The font issue seems to be resolved by installing a ROM/Kernel more compatible with my phone, and as such I can't and won't be pursuing this issue any further.

Nov 30	comment	Can receive but not send SMS It's hard to imagine network issues are the cause since I can receive fine, and all other functions like phone and mail work. However, in any case, my service provider assured me the network was fine.

I'm hoping there might be a solution that does not involve wiping the phone (again), unless I know for sure it will fix it. I've been playing a lot of feature-whack-a-mole recently, and I'd like to stop.

A friend of mine has Jelly Bean installed with no GPS issues, so I think GPS should work with this ROM, but so far, no joy.

I downloaded and installed Autostarts, and there is a "Media Button Pressed" entry, but I have discovered that it is not clicking the button once that activates Google Voice Search, it is holding down the button. Holding down the button should cause PowerAMP to advance forward one song. Unfortunately I can't find any entry for long presses on the headset button.
