Disable ActiveSync Remote Wipe in Froyo Yeah I've had good success with it so far, and no issues. I like the fact that you can see unread emails + upcoming calendar events on one screen too. I tried a ton of "Exchange-compatible" Android email apps before settling on this one. The other ones, such as K9, are good clients, but just don't support active sync. With Touchdown you can actually search the exchange address book which is awesome. |

Verdict on Nexus S battery quality? I love the Nexus S (t-mobile) since I bought it ≈3 weeks ago, but the one achilles heel for me has been the horrendous battery life. Many people said it got worse after 2.3.4, but it's all I've known because when I got my Nexus S, the first thing I did was let it install the update to 2.3.4. I also tried things like setting Wifi to "never sleep", and turning off all background/notification apps or uninstalling some of them. I even followed the advice I found on one forum that suggested doing a hard reset--wiping the phone completely--to solve my problems b/c some people said that made a dramat |

NEXUS S (t-mobile version) 2.3.4 / GRJ22 — IS ROOT POSSIBLE?? can't mount /system mount /data Unfortunately I fall into the group of OS X users who find nothing when they type $ adb devices I did verify of course that I have USB debugging checked on the phone. I tried restarting the adb server, the phone, the computer, all to no avail. Will try with Linux in the next few days, hopefully that will work better. |
