why are “word suggestions” of keyboards not shown in distinct apps? of course, it is reasonable in parts, but for example overiding statusbar showing in every single app creates more chaos than order. I think the user should make this decision, not android or app devs. The point of the statusbar is to use e.g. the clipboard in any app. A lot of my apps dont show it, that's poor and big design error.
why are “word suggestions” of keyboards not shown in distinct apps? So same as with statusbar, the distinct app "decides" whether to show statusbar in a app or keyboard suggestions. Does this make sense? The app settings would be filled with such settings to switch on/off. It's like showing task bar in Windows is determined by program? Whats the point of this android "feature"? Same in ICS? Will wait for more opinions/vote before I accept.
