comment Problems with starting the emulator in Windows
I tried and had the same problem. However, when I re-created the same vm (Nexus 7 2012) as I used when first developing my app (as opposed as a different model (Nexus 5) ). I am going to retry ona different system for the Nexus 5. Maybe the problem is with the binary image of the Nexus 5 itself.

And hw could I do that, say, from the root file manager, or whatever other file manager that comes with my iplementation of Android ? I know that those implementations vary from one hardware maker to another.

comment How to auto-restart media playback when connecting the headphones
I installed it and it does not seem to be compatible with the built-in player in my HTC One V phone. The headphones connection is properly detected and triggers the action of starting it, but nothing sounds on it. I guess this is something specific to my player.

My headset is a cheapo one, with no button at all.Don't know whether this would work. I will try it.
