I love to program, tinker with things and generally a curious person. My career started with developing DOS TSRs in x86 Assembler. My daily work includes programming in Delphi (Windows), Ruby on Rails (Linux) and Java (Android).

My company Hagel Technologies makes network bandwidth monitor DU Meter and other software. I sometimes write in my blog.

comment Can I have a “force close a specific app” shortcut on my screen?
@t0mm13b: Although this is not something that I would like to do (still a multi-step process), this one specific case is probably ok task for a task killer. After all, all I want to do is kill a misbehaving task quickly and effortlessly (on demand - not automatically).

@Zuul: I updated my answer a bit. There is no official documentation on this subject, because it is very device-dependent...

comment Phone intermittently not responding to screen touches
Looked into this, apparently availability of these settings varies depending on Android version and if the phone vendor enabled them or not... I think logcat is the only easy debugging method then. You can also install a free logcat application from the market, but hooking up phone to a computer is more convenient, especially when the phone is unresponsive.
