comment Is it possible to mount .iso files (virtual optical drive) on Android?
Why exactly do you want to mount ISO images? That's a rather unusual request; perhaps we can suggest something else just as good if we knew why. Generally it's more efficient to rip the content to another kind of file than mount an entire disc.

Out of curiosity, what was the unstable behaviour?

So you're not really looking for an answer then, you just want to complain about the fact that it doesn't work with one of your phones out of the box???

I'm not sure I follow your comment - why is using sudo a problem? You won't be able to do and admin work on a system without it.

comment Can back up / restore for a hard reset on Galaxy Note be done using Samsung Kies?
THere's tons on Google Play, such as Helium or G Cloud Backup. Non root BU usually means you need software on the PC end to handle ADB commands, is all.

comment Web Browser roadmap for HTML5 features?
@GAThrawn: true but irrelevant to the OP's actual concern, which is when will "Browser" get HTML5 updates. The answer still is: probably never, as Google has switched to Chrome for the default browser going forward.

comment “fastboot -l devices” returns nothing
You might want to post your PATH, as you may not have edited it correctly. You can also try opening a command window and dragging the fastboot executable to it from Windows Explorer, which should expand out the full path to it, and then running it with "-l devices".

comment Web Browser roadmap for HTML5 features?
I'd disagree, Al Everett; it is a question about the Android OS - the browser - so I think it's relevant, even if it is slanted towards web application development. If the question was "When can I start viewing pages that use HTML5 features on my Android's browser", it would sound more topical but be essentially the same question.
