Set my phone contacts to sync to Google not Google to phone Just FYI, it doesn't sync with either as a master - it performs a merge. |

How can I prevent unwanted pre-installed apps from automatically running on Android? Good answer, though you should also be aware that uninstalling stock apps will prevent you from being able to install future OS updates from your carrier. |

How to access Android APKs without rooting I'm pretty sure that app backups don't require root? Also, there is a space between the two words, but thanks for playing :) matrixrewriter.com/android |

How to access Android APKs without rooting Titanium Backup is useful for this too. The APKs are stored in a folder on the root of the SD card called "backup", if memory serves :) |

How to set up Google Apps Gmail on an Android -phone? Then one of the following should be true: you're entering some of the information incorrectly, the app you're using is broken, or Google has locked your account for too many failed login attempts. |

Is it possible to install an app and exclude some of its requested permissions? This is the best permissions management app in my opinion - I've been using it for a while and it is excellent. |

Can I update my android system although the USB port is broken? Sebastian: I can't link to a guide or be more specific without knowing what carrier your bought your phone from. Each carrier has it's own method, which can vary from phone to phone. It would probably be easiest just to call your carrier's tech support and ask them, really - they can walk you thru updating manually. |
