@HappyNomad Works great for me. Any part in particular you're getting stuck on? What Android device are you using?

comment How can I securely store my private key I use for logging into my home PC
The latest versions of Android now support full disk encryption. When setting it up, I'd recommend using a pin or passphrase that is not the same as your unlock pin.

@Radek It solved a similar issue for me. I apologize it did not resolve your issue.

More information about which apps you are specifically trying to tunnel may help. Do they support SOCK5 Proxy? SSH Tunnel may be a good start.

comment Is there an FTP server which supports resuming failed downloads?
I'm not sure of your objective and constraints, but would it be possible to use rsync/scp instead of FTP?

comment When I search for apps, what determines the order in which they are ranked?
@RyanConrad has the right idea (It's hidden from us), but I've noticed that "Top Developers'" apps are consistently above all others.

Have you tried adjusting which inboxes are being synced? (Inbox vs Priority Inbox, etc)

It's a one time process that may require login to the website. I am unsure as to whether these detailed options are available within the calendar app itself, but are definitely available and only need to be set up a single time within the web interface.

This is one reason why open source has such high value. You know exactly what you're getting and you can help fix problems if you find them.

comment Force VPN usage?
I recommend you check out Tails and see what troubles they have had preventing 'leaks'. Some things, such as DNS lookups, cause these leaks.

I think it would still be possible using iptables, but this might be a ridiculous way to go about things if your ip changes often and may cause additional security risks.

I imagine you would start by using Tor's configuration (check their documentation) and iptables to restrict usage. Like I said, there is probably a 'better' solution for you, but I personally trust TorProject's Orbot more than any other VPN solution currently available. I plan to set this up myself and provide a tutorial soon.

If you were to (correctly) set up a bridge on a server that you owned, you could 1) Limit who could use it (only you) and 2) Have it be the 'exit node', so that all of your traffic would leave from this server and not use any other Tor servers. :D. This is a very powerful tool, but you may find other users with experience with other tools that will suit your needs more easily.

comment Is it possible to write to a device's clipboard using ADB?
My WPA key is sensitive. It should not be broadcast over any non-local network EVER. Thanks for the suggestions @GAThrawn. I will find more use for this functionality eventually :D
