Relative GPS accurancy? Yes. But that is about an absolute accuracy, not relative. My thought behind this was: If there is an "error" about 10m is this error always the same? |

No Devices on shell SCREEN_ON was just the maximum simple example to show my problem. Atually I use "org.prowl.torque.REQUEST_TORQUE_QUIT" to end the torque-App |

No Devices on shell Yes. But should not matter as I am not connecting by USB but have a console-App directly on my device |

Close Application with locale? I mark this as the correct solution as it surely helps a lot of others getting here by search. And because I did not want to mark my own answer :) |

Close Application with locale? Thanks for your reply. But the app I need to "close" is still using a lot of power when running in background, because of continously trying to reading the OBD - Status. I know that usually task killers are nonsense on Android but this is a special case as I do have to close the app manually even if it switches to a background task |

Faster CPU means higher battery consumption? You are right. But the device itself has higher frequency. I just expected that johnili things about the whole device instead of the cores of that device |

How to move applications to external memory card on ICS You can use any of those versions, which require partitioning your SD-Card. But as I wrote: You have to root your device, sorry. If its about memory. Most Applications which use a big amount of disc space can have their data saved on SD. (Like Navigation applications). If it is a specific application try searching for a solution for that specific application. For example: Sygic can save its maps on SD |
