An Android, iOS and C# developer by day and a Linux enthusiast by night. I also enjoy web development (mostly Python), video games, chess, soccer, and voiding warranties.

I currently own a Nexus 5, a Nexus 10, and a Nook HD. I generally run a slightly self-modified version of CyanogenMod on my Nexus devices.

@ce4: I don't recall if you need root just to browse with CACertMan or not - I'll check that real quick. Update: Think you're right, I can list them if I deny it root access, I just can't save a modified list. I'll clarify that.

@ce4: The Galaxy Tab 2 offers this. As Michael notes, it's a separate menu item: dl.dropbox.com/u/16958605/encryptsd.png

comment Can't buy any paid apps on Google Play store, shows “An error occurred. Please try again.”
Any chance you're rooted? Seems like some similar cases of this are solved by installing a different version of the Play Store, but you'd need root to try that (example).

@JeffAtwood: Look for "Google Framework Services" in the Settings->Apps list.

@JeffAtwood: It's possible that the N7 ships with the most recent version of Play, then, so there's actually no updates to uninstall.

comment How to stop com.seven.Z7.Social Hub from keeping my phone awake?
It seems kind of unlikely that this would be the issue, though. The incorrect app was put on the Google Play back in March; the OP would basically have had to never use the Play Store since then in order to still have the erroneous app installed. More likely, the actual email app is misbehaving.
