An Android, iOS and C# developer by day and a Linux enthusiast by night. I also enjoy web development (mostly Python), video games, chess, soccer, and voiding warranties.

I currently own a Nexus 5, a Nexus 10, and a Nook HD. I generally run a slightly self-modified version of CyanogenMod on my Nexus devices.

comment Mount HTC One as Removable Storage
How to turn on USB mass storage with JellyBean probably applies to your situation. How can I use my Galaxy Nexus as an external USB storage drive? as well.

comment Does the Play Store app verify the APKs?
@Nick Then whoever stole it could upload whatever they wanted. The same is true of everything else on the Internet that is "secure", though. The underpinnings of Internet encryption rely on private keys remaining private. If that's an attack vector you're concerned about, then you'd have to basically avoid anything that relies on asymmetric encryption.

comment Does the Play Store app verify the APKs?
@Nick: They cannot be changed. Once you've uploaded an app for the first time to Google Play, you have to continue using the same signing key for the lifetime of the app. It will not allow you to upload an update that is signed differently.
