The UI sounds on my Galaxy Nexus no longer play - how can I re-enable them? Hey look, it's my thread! :P Yeah, it's an annoying bug. It's a terrible design to have a volume setting that there is no way to modify without a third party app. |

How to check which app uses GPS on Galaxy Nexus? I'd be willing to bet it's the Facebook app. I noticed this frequently; I just removed the app and am using the website instead now. |

Aoson M19 — Device Drivers Wow. That's not great for a company not to have publicly available drivers -- I guess it's one of those off-brand chinese tablets though, isn't it? Good luck, hope you can find them! |

I have to talk in an American accent despite setting voice recognition to English UK And unfortunately, it doesn't look as if that's going to happen: lifehacker.com/5659358/google-shuts-down-goog+411 |

How can I tell at what rate my battery is charging? Haha, you should probably edit to clarify as "The app "Current Widget" in the market..." |

How can I see what IP address my android phone has? Haha, sorry about that, yeah apparently an asterisk resolves to an italic pound sign? So you can't actually see your DHCP address in your WiFi Settings? I'm running Cyanogenmod and I can see mine towards the bottom of the menu. Didn't know that wasn't a standard feature. :O |

How Can I Access My Desktop's File System Over 3G? Thanks, I've got Dropbox actually, but I don't upload everything there. Basically, I had an annoyance yesterday trying to get a file printed, my flash drive just stopped working completely, I didn't have it in Dropbox. I had to drive home, burn it to a CD and come back. I just realized it'd be much easier if I could just access my documents from my phone and email it wherever I needed. |

How Can I Access My Desktop's File System Over 3G? I did try setting up an FTP server first; I think FileZilla and SmartFTP were the two I tried. Preferably I'd rather not have a client running if possible, but it may be the easier option. I added the desktop details, it's running Windows 7 64-bit. |
