May 14, 2015 at 18:31 | comment | added | Paul J Richardson | Although I would always recommend a full system ROM backup (which can be done without bootloader unlock), even if going to a whole new hardware device, the bottom line is yes, you can do this without having a full sys backup, in at least 3 ways: (1) backup the ID via TiB, then restore via TiB, (2) hack the TiB db on the new ROM, restore it then, or (3) use the other app I linked to set it. You've got to find out what the ID is first, if you use method no.3 (just use the apk com.evozi.deviceid, or one like it). | |
