Is there a way to change the gmail app background imagecover photo in Gmail app's menu?

Gmail/G+ allows you to change the background imagecover photo along with the profile picphoto. I did bothI already changed both. The profile picphoto will also be used in the Gmail app on most (every?) Android. But what about the background imagecover photo? Is there a way to change the cover photo in Gmail app's menu?
