While probably unrelated, from Sony Bravia Smart TV manual: "Wi-Fi Direct compatible devices: 2.4GHz connection (5GHz not supported)." Otherwise, it might be possible by forcing the configuration of Wi-Fi direct to use 5GHz on Linux, but I can't promise anything on Android. | |
