Apr 5, 2012 at 11:05 comment added GAThrawn There is currently a 4.0.4 update in a phased roll out to GSM Galaxy Nexus's source, that does apparently have a new radio baseband version in it, this may (or may not) make things more stable.
Apr 5, 2012 at 6:34 comment added James B Thanks, Matthew. I had a similar issue with the Captivate (the GPS, in that case) where some advised swapping out handsets for a better receiver, but I waited too long and got stuck with a bad one. I want to avoid doing that here.

Apr 4, 2012 at 18:10 comment added shambleh Swapped GNex handsets twice last month for this issue.
Apr 4, 2012 at 17:37 comment added Flow If a factory reset doesn't fix the issue, then it's likely a hardware problem and you should exchange the phone.
Apr 4, 2012 at 17:10 comment added Ryan Conrad Parts of your question make this off topic and more of a shopping recommendation. - If you have what you think are hardware issues, then i would exchange it for another unit.
