I did get it to work with the camera button but I also got it to work entering from the app icon because when I was originally testing it Camera360 was my default app and I tested it against the stock camera which turned out to work much better. Are you using the stock camera? Also, take a look at my other answer about SugarSync. The more I use the service the more I like it, I'm probably going to sign up for the $5 a month plan.
Dec 17, 2010 at 13:05 | comment | added | gary | I tried this again (carefully) and I'm still not seeing automatic upload to my picasa pipe. (I wonder if I need to log in to picasa on my phone first?) Did you get it to work using a phone with a camera button? (Like the automatic dropbox solution requires).

Oct 27, 2010 at 2:49 | comment | added | gary | Nope, still just seeing photos reaching picasa after manual sync. I think the "auto" part is that once you manually upload to pixelpipe, it automatically pipes your photos to pre-existing pipes (such as flickr, picasa, etc.). I may have to give PicPush a try.
Oct 26, 2010 at 20:29 | comment | added | gary | Just seeing these comments now, not sure how I missed them... But no, I haven't tried it aside from manual sync. I will report back. (thanks for caring!)
Oct 26, 2010 at 1:17 | comment | added | Matt | Did you ever get it working? What about Saiboogu's suggestion, that one seems promising. On a side note if you don't find anything, Lookout Mobile Security will back up your pics daily to their servers.
Oct 20, 2010 at 5:32 | comment | added | Matt | I went back and tried it and there's an "auto upload on camera" option but I couldn't get it to do anything. What do you think that option is for? I assumed it did what u wanted but now I'm wondering if its a bug or I'm just misunderestanding the options intent. On another note, I wonder if, used with tasker, if pixelpipe would do what you need.
Oct 20, 2010 at 2:29 | comment | added | gary | This seems like the best answer so far. I'm still not seeing the auto-updating but I will tinker.
