What'sappWhatsApp does not work without access to contacts for Android. II did it on my husbandsrelative's phone with no problem (IOSiOS) but not ours. I

I figured out a workaround on the desktop to send myself a text with the number in the message and then you can click the link. The above 3rd party apps can not be found in the Google store
