Syncing playlists between Ubuntu and AndriodAndroid smartphone

I'm looking for a simple and reliable way of syncing music playlists between Ubuntu and Andriodan Android smartphone. Some time ago I was using Banshee, but then it suddenly stopped to workworking. My understanding is that Banshee still puts *.m3u*.m3u files to Music/PlaylistsMusic/Playlists folder but the smartphone does not see them. I tried to use Rhythmbox instead but it also does not seem to work.
