May 24, 2014 at 15:15 comment added Jonnydev I tried this solution without step 3 and it worked for me. I tried a number of different things that I found on the Web before trying this one and they didn't work. It seems that downloading an unrelated app reset something on Google's end. Thanks!

Feb 12, 2014 at 1:01 comment added Izzy Don't get me wrong. I just cannot see what steps 1-3 should do that a factory-reset didn't. I give you a big point for step 4: It wouldn't be the first time downloading a completely unrelated app triggers something on Google's end (think of the country-restriction when you move to a different country, changed creditcard+address in Wallet, and it still requires to buy some app to have those changes "applied"). True, 1-3 do no harm, but might be unnecessary hazzle in case a factory-reset had just been done.

I understand your tech perspective and that's why didn't agree with your disapproval .I've tried you suggestion and i didn't worked. I think that every one is entitled to help out with a valid suggestion. What I don't think is correct is you contesting my confirmed solution without being able to test it.. or even worst.. you are not even aware of the actual problem that is already being chased by Google.

Feb 12, 2014 at 0:23 comment added user53460 dude, if you dont have the problem just stand down... this is a validation problem regarding time format and handshankes. If you reset it you will be forced to go trough the wizard that will set up your phone and eventually will generate you this problem.
Feb 12, 2014 at 0:21 comment added Izzy Why (and how) should I try it? I don't even have that problem. As to your steps: 2) a factory-reset clears data+cache, sure. 3) a f-r removes the account (user has to set it up after next boot). 4) is the only thing that could have triggered anything – so that might be something @xZero might wish to try.
Feb 12, 2014 at 0:15 comment added user53460 it's all about the procedure!!! <br>It worked for me, have you try it?.... because i re-downloaded and reflashed my phone without success... but this process did work!!!
