I have a samsung galaxy avant that I forgot the password and I want back in. Im really clueless. I dont think my usb debugging is enabled or location. Outlook can find my phone but google cant connect. I think Ive rooted it and downloaded several programs to my comp. robomoto, kies, and others. I can get to odin mode but Ive never done any of this and Im totally confused. I dont want to do a factory reset please help!

  • Don't Samsung phones have an option to login with your Google credentials? – Huey Apr 11 '15 at 18:02
  • I dont have access through google .something about location services being off. this is all new to me so quoting exact is tough. also my avant runs kit kat 4.4.2 which adds to the security fixes android has done – JPC Apr 11 '15 at 19:52
  • So you didn't log in to Google on your phone, ever? Because if you added your Google account in Settings, your phone should automatically offer you a way to unlock using your Google email and password. Not to mention this doesn't really have anything to do with location services. – aureljared Apr 13 '15 at 11:14
  • I've just added the locked-out tag to your question. Please check with its tag-wiki, which holds not only some first-aid but also points to a bunch of solutions. After that, please come back and either answer your own question if solved, or edit it with what you've tried and where you're stuck if not. – Izzy Apr 22 '15 at 15:07
