I'm having a major problem with Supersu. In order to remove it, I did a hard reset on my Sony Xperia C. But it still doesn't remove. Whenever I open it, it shows

Supersu binary needs to be updated. Continue?

When I continue, it shows

If you have a custom recovery like TWRP or CWM, that can be used to (try to) install the SU binary. This is recommended for HTC devices. How would you like to install the SU binary?

I pressed Normal a few times but it shows

Installation Failed.

So I decided to go with the other option. Then my phone switched off. Let me tell you everything from the start.

I wanted to increase internal storage space on my Sony Xperia C. I saw a tutorial on Youtube here. I tried to root the phone as told but I wasn't able to do it. In the app showed in the video, the language was Chinese, that's why. Still, I managed to create the partition as told.

Then, I saw another video to root my phone on YouTube here. Then I installed Link2SD app. But it didn't require any Superuser permissions (as told in the 1st tutorial). I thought the phone wasn't rooted yet. I searched for solutions on the internet but could not find any. So I decided to do the whole process again. I connected my phone to the PC and removed the partition in it. But then I saw that 32 GB SD Card had become damaged and had to be formatted. Thankfully, I had made a backup.

Then I did a hard reset on my phone, only to see that Supersu app was still there! And now my memory card is damaged too! Please help me.

In SuperSu app, there is an option for Full unroot? Did you try it? Its App -> SETTINGS -> Cleanup -> (Full unroot). For damaged SD-Card, you may see this. android.stackexchange.com/questions/7069/… Unless the damage is physical of course. – Firelord Apr 25 '15 at 21:44
  • Insert SD card into a computer and scan/fix errors. If that doesn't fix it, then you will need to use a partition program. Scan and fix sectors, also check partition table. For SuperSU problem, unroot is just like Firelord stated in comment above. – HasH_BrowN Apr 26 '15 at 8:05
