I know this question has been asked many times, but I couldn't find a suitable answer... My Vivo Y22 has 3.62 GB for the external storage, but I only have 2.56 GB for my system space. I didn't know what I did; I only had the phone for just a few months. But then there was a notification saying that I have insufficient space whenever I launch any of my installed apps or Chrome. Since the phone storage only offers 1.06 GB, I have bought an SD Card that could store up to 14.6 GB so I can store my pictures and songs. I've already tried moving all my files to the SD Card, deleting videos, pictures, uninstalling unused apps and also used iManager and App Cache Cleaner to clean away the unnecessary files that I don't need. But my system space stay being occupied by 50.89 MB of something. It gets really frustrating because I couldn't update apps that I really use and need. How do I fix this problem? :( Any suggestion is really, really appreciated.
As the other user suggested, If you have a rooted phone you can make SD Card your primary memory. As for your problem I can only suggest using Very less apps. Some apps like Whatsapp eat lot of your internal storage. Try uninstalling it and check if everything works.
Firstly, It might be that your phone is automatically updating the Google Apps, try uninstalling all Google App updates.
If you are not sure if it's not Internal or App data, try running a sdcard analysis with ES File Manager. It will list you the folders occupying space.
Lastly, Maybe As the Other User's said, The Problem is probably for the app data (data partition '/data' ). If you have a rooted phone try re-partitioning the Primary Memory, and resize Internal Storage partition / or / use App2SD to use sdcard for app data storage.[BETTER CHOICE]
Good luck! 👍👍
