Suposse that we have a java source file. In Terminal Emulator we can use javac command to compile and java command to run the program.

My question is that, if we have java compiler, Can we compile and run the program inside a Terminal Emulator Running on Android device ?

  • This really doesn't make any sense. A compiler that supports compilation from high level code to bytecode may or may not support compilation from either of those to a binary, and no answer is possible for any arbitrary/unknown compiler. – Matthew Read Mar 27 '16 at 18:56
  • Most Android apps are written in Java and as there is a terminal app, the OP is asking if it is possible to compile a Java program (with javac executable) and run it with ja Java interpreter (java executable). Apparently, there is an app that provides both executables. – The Somberi Jun 21 '16 at 10:10

This app should be able to do it for you: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spartacusrex.spartacuside&hl=en

Supposedly, you can just run the javac command in this app like you would on your computer.
