I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on my PC, and Android 5.0.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S4.
Whenever I plug my phone in with MTP mode and USB debugging enabled, it gives me a repeated popup saying "Unable to mount SAMSUNG Android - couldn't find matching udev device"
I know that Ubuntu doesn't have native support for MTP, but I've installed the ppa suggested by the top answer in this question, and MTP works just fine as long as USB debugging isn't enabled.
I need to be able to use ADB, so I need USB debugging enabled. Can anyone assist? I apologize if this is more of an AskUbuntu question.
