Everything was file, but suddenly I am getting an error while trying to access default ftp service via wifi. Error: "The folder 'ftp://192.168.1.3:2121' is read only because the proxy server is not set up to allow full access"

No proxy is set up on wifi nither on my android nor windows PC. And, I am on same network

  • That rather looks like a Windows issue (after all, it's your Windows machine throwing that error, so it must be talking about Windows settings). Do you have another (Android) device to verify if the error occurs when you try to access it from there? – Izzy♦ Feb 17 '17 at 12:45

  • Thanks! As that's an important detail, may I suggest you edit your question and include this fact (best with a screenshot from that phone showing a similar error)? Another fact you should mention: what kind of FTP server is running on that device? Best include a link to that app as well. – Izzy♦ Feb 18 '17 at 10:05
  • It iss Lenovo A7000's inbuilt application, moreover Xender is not working too(when I tap on connect to pc, My computer's browser shwed error unable to connect). Thanks for your help Problem is solved – Devansh Jani Feb 18 '17 at 10:45

I rebooted and cleared my phone's cache and dalvik cache via my twrp recovery and ftp started working.
