I am trying to move apps to the system drive /system/app/. It says there is no space left on device but there is 5 GB left of spaces on the device but that not the system drive. How do I make the system drive have more space? I have tried a lot of ways and they don't work.

  • You can't unless you repartition the device, which you can't find a universal guide for. You're better off moving/deleting some useless apps off /system first. – Andy Yan May 28 '17 at 2:47
  • The Apps On there are only the default system apps. I am moving a 5GB thing onto it. – DatChicken040 May 28 '17 at 4:20
  • What was that, and why would you want to do so? (Or say, what advantage will moving there gain you?) – Andy Yan May 28 '17 at 9:15

  • 5GB worth of apps? Think again. Also, you didn't really answer: what do you gain by letting these apps reside in /system? Most apps don't take advantage of this elevated permission, plus updating system apps can prove troublesome. – Andy Yan May 30 '17 at 0:41
