I had my Samsung Galaxy J3 set a pattern by accident and have no idea what it is. It's been 3 days and still haven't discovered any answers and am feeling hopeless.

If I do a factory reset, all my data and important photos will be lost. My phone is set to waiting 64 minutes before trying another pattern and won't ask if I have forgotten my pattern and let me type in my ID and password.

Any solution?

If you had sign a Samsung or Google account in your Samsung J3, then you can remove the forgotten pattern with them.

Welcome to Android Enthusiast. It's good to know that it's possible to remove the forgotten pattern if the user had signed in using Samsung or Google account, but could you edit and explain how to do that specifically? – Andrew T. Mar 4 '19 at 8:32

The only way for you to unlock your device would be if you setup a Samsung account while setting up your phone.

  1. Head into Samsung's Find my Mobile service.

  2. Sign into your Samsung account. If you did not create a Samsung account or do not remember creating one, then try signing in with your Gmail ID and password.

  3. Wait for your device to be located, and then click on More from the right menu.

4) Next scroll down and click on Unlock my Device option

  1. On the pop-up enter in the password for your Samsung account
